MEET CHLOE

The Full Story

Chloé is a genuine, passionate, and dynamic instructor of yoga and barre. Captain of her D1 lacrosse team, Chloé has always had a drive and passion for health and fitness. She shifted gears to become an instructor after working an around-the- clock marketing job in Manhattan, where fitness took too much of a backseat. Her first experience “on the mat” was while attending prep school in New England, and she became a devoted student of yoga after college.

 

In July 2011, Chloé earned her 200-hour certification in Paris, France (YogaWorks). There she learned an Iyengar and Ashtanga style of yoga under Amy Lafond. Her yoga philosophy seeks to make her students in tune with their bodies through alignment and steady practice, while finding balance on and off of the mat. She loves the “Aha!” moments in class. Chloé also is certified in Yoga for Athletes, Pre-natal yoga, Baptiste, Aerial Yoga, Yin, Restorative, Breathwork and Meditation. She is also certified in Chakra Therapeutics.
 

She has over 2500+ teacher training experience hours and has attended in person yoga teacher workshops/trainings under Baron Baptiste (Power Yoga) , Dice Iida-Klein (Vinyasa + Acro), Edward Clark (Tripsichore), Claudine Lafond (Vinyasa + Acro), Kia Miller (Kundalini), Felicia Tomasko (Yin + Ayurveda), Annie Carpenter (Smart Flow  - Alignment), Ed Mitra Shapiro (Yoga Nidra), Maty Ezraty (Ashtanga), Ana Forrest (Forrest Yoga), Kathyrn Budig (vinyasa) , Tymi Howard (Yin +Vinyasa), Giselle Mari (Yin and Jivamukti), Seane Corn (Vinyasa), Sianna Sherman (Mystic Flow), Alanna Kaivalya (Ashtanga Vinyasa, Mythology, Breathwork and Meditation), Hannah Muse (Pre-natal), and Seattle-based Ashtanga- Mysore style yoga with Troy Lucero, Regan Pasko (Inversions + Arm Balances), Richelle Ricard The Yogi Engineer (Anatomy), and Vinyasa teachers Liz Doyle + Robin Martin.In 2024, Chloe completed a year long Mentorship with Elena Brower. Currently, she is studying to complete a 500-hour Yoga Teacher Training with The Kaivalya Yoga Method and Yoga for Athletes Teacher Training with Yoga Medicine under teacher Tiffany Cruikshank. She is influenced by the teachings of Tracee Stanley (Yoga Nidra) and Shawn J. Moore (Yoga Nidra + Sound Healing), and hopes to do her next training with both.


Chloe’s favorite styles to teach are a Vinyasa style class, SUP Yoga, Yin, or a restorative athletic recovery-based class. Her motto for 2025 is “Handstand whenever you can” and you can expect a lot of arm balances in the Vinyasa-style classes. Chloé is also a Juice Cleanse Coach, Nutritionist and plant-based chef. Through Yoga, she found a passion in Ayurveda and studied at the Mount Madonna Center and continues to study Ayurveda.


She studied Nutrition and Health Coaching at the School of Integrative Nutrition (State University of New York – Purchase) and is certified by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners.
While living in Paris, France she studied cooking at La Cuisine Paris and there she learned about Market to Table cooking dishes.

While working at Seattle University in 2010, she became a Certified Personal Trainer through ACE and NASM, certified through Mad Dogg Athletics Indoor Spinning, and Group Fitness Instructor by AFAA. She has 3 TRX certifications and trained with TRX in San Francisco, San Diego and Seattle. In Seattle, she also became certified with Trigger Point (myofascial and foam rolling).

While living in Connecticut, NYC and Seattle - she coached club lacrosse, high school lacrosse and served as the Head Coach at Seattle University. During this time, she was on the board of US Lacrosse Washington where she served as the Fundraiser Coordinator. She still enjoys playing Women’s League Lacrosse. 

It’s her Dharma to teach and her passion to be a forever student. Always learning to be the best teacher for herself, students and community. 

When she is not teaching, she enjoys exploring the Southwest Colorado area with her family and bulldog, especially visiting the many local farmer’s markets, hiking, creating various new “healthier” foods while writing for her nutrition blog (VeganwithChloed) and loves learning about Raw Vegan cuisine by her mentor Kristina Carrillo-Bucaram (FullyRawKristina) and traveling with her company Nutritional Gangster for Yoga, Hiking + Clean Eating Retreats.——
